George Sterling (1869-1926), was born around Sag Harbor, Long Island, New York, and stirred to California in 1890.  the poet world health organization became a significant digit inside Bohemian literary circles in northern California in the number 1 quarter of the 20th century, & in the development of the creative person' colony around Carmel, he was close friends with Ambrose Bierce, Jack London, and Clark Ashton Smith, and wise man to Robinson Jeffers.
